Make a rectangle. Go to Select > Modify > Smooth and choose 7 pixels. Choose a light color and a darker color. Fill the selection with gradient with the Gradient Tool. Make a stroke with the setting above. Type your text. Make a drop shadow with the settings in the picture. The finished button
